Fourcast, Inc.
Effective date: September 12, 2026
Fourcast, Inc. is an IT services company based in Rockford, Michigan. This page explains what information Fourcast collects, why it’s collected, and what happens to it. It’s written in plain language rather than legalese, because it’s meant to actually be read.
Throughout this policy, “Fourcast,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Fourcast, Inc. “You” refers to anyone visiting this website, contacting us, or using our services.
Information you give us directly. When you fill out the contact form on this site, email, call, or text us, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.
Information from doing business together. If you become a client, we collect what’s needed to deliver service and bill for it: billing contacts, addresses, authorized contacts at your organization, and records of the work performed for you.
Website usage. This site runs on WordPress and may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to filter spam, which is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you text our business number or provide a mobile number so we can text you about your service, that number is used to communicate with you about your account, your tickets, scheduled work, and service issues. We don’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
Full details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
We don’t sell your information. We don’t run advertising on this site, and we don’t share your information with advertisers.
As your IT provider, Fourcast often holds administrative access to systems containing your organization’s data — email, files, workstations, servers, and cloud tenants. Those systems are accessed only as needed to deliver the services you’ve engaged us for, or when you ask us to. Any confidentiality terms in our service agreement govern that access and take precedence over this general policy.
Information is shared only in these situations:
Business records, service documentation, and communications are retained for as long as we’re working together and afterward as needed for tax, legal, and warranty purposes. If you’d like something deleted, ask and we’ll tell you plainly what can be removed and what we’re required to keep.
Fourcast takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information it holds, including multi-factor authentication, encrypted storage, endpoint protection, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise — but security is what we do for a living, and we apply the same standards to our own business that we recommend to yours.
This site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. Fourcast does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy is updated, the effective date above will change. Material changes affecting how your information is handled will be communicated directly to active clients.
